Too bad Adamek couldn't get a good payday as cruiserweight champion, but the American networks Showtime and HBO didn't want him on for some reason.

That puzzles me. He was in two very entertaining fights that they saw versus Briggs and there is a large Polish population who are fans of his.

I hope he gets on the networks soon, because the guy is the truth and an exciting, and tough fighter.

oh great, a light hitting HW. Estrada is a waste of time for Adamek.

**how does Estrada get these chances? he already fought and lost to Povetkin

Perhaps Showtime's Hershman and HBO's Greenburg don't like good Europeans fighters?

At the same time, they don't mind having a bum like Yorgey on, even though he was sure to lose against Angulo. And they put on boring fights that few people want to see, like Dawson-Tarver II.

I don't think it is only because Adamek isn't a big name yet, the bigger problem is that his team / promoter chooses him to fight bums for his last 4-5 fights, which network is gonna to pick up on that?

Fighting Golota was a brilliant move and it made him a ton of money.

I don't blame him, he's been screwed over in the past tbh.

He's fought a ton of good guys and got **** financially for it.

the reasonthey don't put them on hbo & showtime is the cruiserweight division sucks,he hammered Cunningham already & there is no one who cares about the division.David haye moved up for a reason so adamek followed....it's called $$$$$$$ people! Get your heads out of your asses! It has nothing to do with not liking Europeans.why do you think there are so many 40 year old heavyweights still around? $$$$$$$ is still good even in a less significant fight.they should just get rid of the cruiserweight division.

His three opponents before the networks turned him down were not bums: O'Neil Bell, Steve Cunningham, and then-undefeated Jonathan Banks.

After that they turned him down. Since then he's fought Gunn and Golota.

Taking a step backwards may hurt him in the long run even though I can see why he's done it now. At first I thought that a Johnson-Adamek fight would've been good. But now, a part of me is glad that they turned that down because Adamek would've killed him. I thought that Johnson was going to give Chad a good fight and he didn't. So after seeing that fight, that is what made me draw my conclusion.
