Just looking at this list, how is it that Calzaghe never took on any of his near mandatories in 2002 / 2003?!

      - Sven Ottke
      - Antwun Echols
      - Eric Lucas
      - Anthony Mundine
      - Danny Green

And instead opted to fight Tocker Pudwill / Byron Mitchell ...!
Simple answer is that WBO never forced any mandatories upon their champions.

        • It's amazing how the WBO never enforced mandatories yet Joe never sought out a challenge during his reign.

You pretty much said that Lacys best wins was better than Kessler's. You may wanna retract the statement now, but that's what you said. Impossible to interpret it any other way (even though english isn't my first language).

              That's what I'm thinking - absolutely ridiculous.

No problem, Bat. Not gonna debate it. The fact that we're discussing how great Beyer, Andrade and Mundine are is good enough for me.

Well nobody that I recall ever said they were great fighters, but they were top ranked in the division so it is what it is.

                      How about Lacy's?
