So is Calzaghe gonna give us some kind of explanation of why Kessler lost to Ward?

its not that he talks himself up but it seems like hes insulting our intelligence and tries to take it away that he fights guys who clearly lost a step

Stop it, this is laughable. Since when does a win one fighter has years later effect the standing legacy wise of another fighter who had a win over the same opponent?....The Kessler Joe fought was a younger, better, more active, and unbeaten Kessler.......Ward seems to be the real deal and just got a great win on his resume but it has no bearing on Calzaghe at all.

Calzaghe was just like Mayweather only worse, made up every excuse in the world not to lose his 0

They're not even close to comparable.

Mayweather beat guys who were much more accomplished than the guys who Calzaghe beat, and a lot of the guys Mayweather beat went on to do great things

Hell, I'd say Mayweather's wins over Castillo and Corrales alone beat anything Calzaghe ever accomplished. Then throw in that he KO'd an undefeated Hatton, beat Oscar and Judah and it's a landslide for Mayweather.

Joe's best win was Kessler and that looks like dog **** now. Unless he's going to change his mind and say beating a 43-year-old Hopkins is his best win. In that case...

Calzaghe is a JOKE and a FRAUD.

lmfao @ Kessler being his best and most career defining win. Kessler is a c level fighter at best.

We're not going to know where Kessler really is until the semis. His next two opponents he is supposed to beat. I hope he faces Abraham or Dirrell someone he hadn't faced yet.

Kessler isn't going to make it to the semis. Froch probably beats him in round 2.

Calslappy is an over hyped bum. Slapped his way into hometown wins and tricking judges he really knew what he was doing. Fooled us all.

I may give Calzaghe a little bit of the benefit of the doubt if Kessler goes on to win a couple more fights against Froch and Abraham. But even so, we have to wait a long time until that happens. Even if Kessler is an elite fighter, which he isn't, he's just one guy on Calzaghe's resume. Styles make fights and Joe got out when things were heating up.
