I was in Vegas some years back right after Floyd Jr. had dumped Sr. as his trainer and I was at the Tua v. Daniels fight at the Regent pretty far off the strip btw.
Im in the beer garden and I run into Senior who is in a baby blue powder suite with rings on every ****in finger. I asked him about his break up with his boy and he said he was at the time getting calls from Erik Morales to train him against Floyd Junior. I laughed and said Morales is far too slow to ever compete with Floyd and he put his finger in my face and said "its not about speed boy its about timing"
He then grabbed my friend who was next to me and put him directly in front of him...he then tucked his chin in his blue suite and proceeded to throw about 30-40 punches with lightning speed...
My friend was shell shocked as Floyds fists were inches from his face punch after punch and I easily got the impression that he could have killed both of us if he wanted to...seriously.
He then moved my friend out of the way and put his finger back in my face and said "ya see its not about speed its about timing"
I said back to him-that looked pretty ****in fast to me.
Whats this story mean...nothing other then Floyd is a character....I think the man is not all there obviously but boy I would not want to **** with that man in an alley.
As fpor his training or Rogers for that matter...Floyd better develop a game plan on his own because the brothers mayweather arent going to be much help.
LOL. The sad part is everyone will believe that story about Floyds explanation of his theory on timing by showcasing stuff that has nothing to do with timing.
Jr. is smart, Jeff is smart, Roger seems average, but Sr. is undoubtedly dumb (maybe because of illness, brain injury, or drug use).... wealth is not directly related to intelligence
