I think Cotto's face and mouth get busted up very easily on top of not having a very good chin. People think his chin is strong just because he took Judah, Mosley, and Margarito's punches. But what people don't realize is Cotto does a good job of disguising being hurt by going on the retreat when he is hurt and fatigued.

There are very few top of the game fighters that can take a loss in their stride and not be a shadow of their former self. Look at history Marvin Haggler did not come to terms with his loss to Leanard, Naseem Hamed pretty well called it a day after the Barrera fight, Hatton was depressed for months after losing to Mayweather, Don Curry was washed up after Lloyd Honeghan. Kelly Pavlik is a shadow of his former self.Teddy Atlas knows the facts the odds were heavily against Cotto being his former self when he stepped in the ring with Manny.

Then if you believe that ****, who do you think mentally damaged Cotto going into the Margarita fight ?

Bro, just face it, all Margarita did was expose Cotto's weakness, that when the chips are down, Cotto goes into survival mode. Unlike the Gatti's, PAC's and Ali's, we've all seen those guys in tough spots in the ring, but they reacted, not by just trying to survive but fighting on, fighting harder.

It's no different than Ryan Leaf, who had loads of talent as a QB, but he simply couldn't handle the pressures of being an NFL QB, unlike the Montana's and Brady's.
