Hello no.. I have madddd love PuertoRicans.. My first trainer was Puerto Rican matter fact and the gym which I first started in Morris Park Boxing Club was full of cool PR peeps....I learned how to box with PuertoRicans.. They showed me love and comfort when I first joined up tought me how to be courageous. My current style is made up of things that I've observed from a couple of PR dudes as well.
I don't hate PuertoRicans brother man. No way in the world. Do I hate some online fanboys who happen to be Prican? Yes but that does't mean I have something against Puerto ricans.

Man...I believe me when I say I have strong beliefs about quitting. Even when I was young kid and I would get punished by older guys in sparring, I would try with all my might not to get KO'd and make it to the third or 4th round (that's how many rounds we usually spared)
I know it was just sparring, but imagine a little kid getting his eye sockets and jaw battered and still wanting to keep going.
We're not talking about a Pro who gets paid to fight here, we're talking about a kid who was ashamed to take a knee or to ask his trainer to stop the fight because he was embarrassed how he would look among the people that were watching in the gym.

And you obviously didn't read any of my posts where i have always accepted Cotto's defeat to Manny graciously. I think you just an ******* trolling the forum.

You don't like Cotto, and i have seen too many Cotto haters trying not to be obvious about it. I call them closet haters. I had to talk one guy here into admitting he hates Cotto. He finally did after a few posts. You are a closet hater. You are trying to make Cotto fans look like we are all sore losers. If you don't like what you read here then don't read it.

If it bothers you that much, maybe you shouldn't be joining a boxing forum. You come into this forum with your holier than though attitude that us Cotto fans make excuses and think too much of him. We will continue to be loyal fans of his wether you like it or not. And if this bothers you...too ***in bad.

Earleir you say..."You guys have a bad habit of hyping your fighters up though, and when they lose you still can't accept that they weren't what you made him out to be."

You are lumping us all into your neat little category so it's easier for you to diss us fans. Who the *** do you know who accepted the loss and who didn't? You are a real ******* for coming here and telling us who accepted it and who didn't.

This alone shows what a phony you are. you don't know what the *** you're talking about. You're just trying to get us going and every post that contains the word "quitter" proves that.

You are probably a kid that has been watching boxing for about as long as Cotto has been a pro fighter, if that long. The fact that you are focusing your attitude at us fans and trying to make us look foolish says volumes about your motive, which is to disscredit Cotto by calling him Quitto, and saying us fans can't accept the win like we are all one person.

I think you're reality check bounced awhile back there buddy boy. Good God, where do these people come from? You see in my sig Cotto's record. Pretty dam good one. And he's still young. And he had the balls to take on fighters that nobody else would. I would go on, but I get the feeling that this guy has very selective vision and sees what he wants to see.

You can't debate sensibly with someone that has that mindset, so I'm setting you free to prance the forums, spewing your bull**** and hatred...however you wish to disguise it. Good luck with that. People here
are smarter than you are giving them credit for. Later, hater.

^^^ Real Cotto fan and respectable boxing fan.

I can say what I want. I am not getting heated, but I am annoyed. Everyone especially you is questioning a fighters heart and pride, when you have done nothing!

Stick to being a fun. I curse when I speak so that's what I write, so if you have a problem with it.. Don't quote my posts. Cry me a river.

Also.. Stop asking people for sparring matches online.. It's sad.. If my sparring doesn't consist of me fighting and training for a AM bout, GG, or Metros, etc, then its not worth it. You want to prove something to Boxingscene? What are you? Zelenoff of NY? You want to prove something, then stop questioning a profighters heart, and try to see if you have one.

        Move along.
Exactly. Questioning if I ever boxed before, then bitching out. Straight up ***** move, just stfu and watch who you call out.

Yes I am a proud comedian in my block and I am the Zelenoff of NY. Whatever.

And I asked for a friendly sparring match, not a fight. And trust me, you wouldn't even notice i am handicapped lol.

I'll move along but don't be calling me out or questioning if i have ever boxed because I back down from no challenge, internet or not idc, I box anybody, any size.

Woot woot for the E-Thugs like Kevin Jesus. Yeah whatever.

Sparing is contradictory, it is like comparing apples with oranges. Like I said, you never say never b/c you do not know what awaits for you down the road. I am not a boxer, but I am somewhat sure that when a boxer fights, he does not go in there with the mentality that he is going to quit, which by the way, I do not feel Cotto quit, but I will go with you that he did, just for argument sake.

Also, I just saw your post in another thread where you claimed the following: "lol at Cotto getting all this criticism btw. You don't see Cotto stans saying anytihng now, they're hiding in their little corners. Yesterday when I was posting in the "Heart and Pride Cotto" thread I was being called a hater.

When was the Cotto stans hiding in the corners? If I recall correctly, the Cotto stans where making you look kind of childish yesterday. You see, when you go to other threads to claim lies, your credibility goes down the toilet. As for you being from Morris Park, I know Morris Park, I saw a lot of kids get there ass kicked in Loretto Park.

Lol no one called you out. Even if you do box.. Who cares.. You are not the fighter Cotto is to be talking **** when you haven't proved nothing.

Respect.. If you box, you should know this.

I know it's just a sparring match... but the point of my post wasn not weather it's a sparring match, a real fight, a bare knuckle fight.. it's about not wanting to give up even though you're getting crushed out of respect for yourself, your fans, your friends etc...

I wasn't a pro, I wasn't getting money for not quitting, I was just a kid who gave it best not to give up and embarrass himself infront of his gym buddies. It's the effort that counts and I'm never going to forget in what I believe in.

Fighters are not all the same though. Everyone is made up of different cloth.

As for you being from Morris Park, I know Morris Park, I saw a lot of kids get there ass kicked in Loretto Park.
I'm not from morris park, I live in Pelham Park and started boxing in Morris park boxing club.

Even If I was from morris park, I don't know what you tried to mean by that. Maybe that I'm soft or something judging by the fact that I am from morris park?

And by the way, when somebody decides to show respect and stop the further one-sided battering, I wouldn't call that humiliation. I would call that being tired of winning an argument and decide to show the fans their respect and not hold the fact that their fighter quit against them.

Great video, cotto could of being one of the best in boxign ever, but margarito messed his career up. I hope to see Marg fight again so he can get his ass beat again. Cotto will be back but he will never be the same unless he changes his trainer and changes the way he gains weight during the off time.

                      Great video.

Really like Cotto, he's one of the good guys in the sport.

I would say he's more of a boxer, that is, an exponent of the 'sweet science' than a warrior or a fighter which aren't really words to describe him.

                      A very talented boxer however.
