Your comparing apples to oranges, we all know that you have to be decent at boxing, kickbxing, BJJ, grappling, etc to be a good MMA fighter. A MMA fighter is a jack of all trade but a master of none. That being said, none of those guys holds a candle to a good boxer or else they would become boxers and make alot more money! The top MMA fighters, have middle of the road boxing skills at best.

MMA is better for fighting, BUT, no MMA fighter is better than a boxer.

Why? because of all the things they have to focus on, they can never be half as good as the worst boxer at boxing.

On top of that they rarely come from extreme poverty. Half the big names are from the states and were living on good terms and just like the idea of being tough guys.

I mean you got Fedor, the mans stand up is terrible yet he manages to beat all the other MMA fighters with just big ass haymakers.

Actually you are wrong because all Mixed Martial Artists have what is called a base style.

All of them are Champion Kick Boxers, NCAA Wrestling Champions, Jiu Jitsu Black belt masters, or Champion Mu Tai Kick Boxers who also learned other skill sets outside of the ones they mastered.

SO IN OTHERWARDS MIXED MARTIAL ARTISTS ARE MASTERS WHO NEVER STOPPED LEARNING NEW FIGHTING STYLES.

Sure but it's also a sport that translates into combat situations. Tennis isn't gonna help you in a fight! Well maybe if you walk around with a tennis racket all day.
