The difference is Mosley and Judah don't have the speed that Pac does doing everything. Every movement Pac makes is lightning fast, be it punching, backing up, lunging in, horizontal movement, he does it all with supreme quickness. Judah and Mosley just have terrific hand speed and don't utilize movement and angles like Pac.

Partly because as Roach said, Pacquiao's speed is different from that of Mosley and Judah plus he has much more footspeed and his angles are very unorthodox, it throws off his opponents.

And partly because I think Cotto's timing and speed aren't the same anymore, before the Pacquiao-Cotto fight I watched the Mosley/Judah-Cotto fights then watched the Clottey-Cotto fight, I thought it was apparent that Cotto's timing and speed weren't the same anymore.

Regarding the thread title question, I think the main reason is that Cotto is a different fighter post-margarito.

Agree. What some fans/posters don't realize is that Cotto, judah, mosley, berto, etc are good fighters. There is a reason why we have top 10. Floyd/Pac will decide who is # 1 and who is #2. Cotto, mosley,Clottey, berto, etc fall between 3-10. When i read posters slamming cotto or clottey or berto these same posters don't know anything about boxing or care about it. In baseball you have yanks, phillies and then the rest. Does not make the dodgers or redsox bad, just not top 2. People/posters need to stop bashing good boxers and realize that once pacquiao, cotto, floyd retire, another group will replace them as pac/floyd replaced past great ones. ENJOY BOXING !!

Cotto might never beat pac or margarito but i feel he can beat mosley or berto. Remember there are other belts in welterweight division, also think Cotto can take title from Yuri. There are enough belts to go around since 1 is made up every 2 days(diamond). Heard that burger king is forming a belt for pac/floyd fight....lol
