but it sure as hell is a big payday for Marquez. Also I stated Juan should either be fighting in legacy or money fights. Hatton vs Marquez falls into the latter category, while a third Pacquiao fight falls into the first (and second also).

Agree. He's too old for anything else.

He probably still beats the top guys at 40' but not easily and not for nearly enough rewards.

The quicker he goes for a legacy fight, the quicker he can drop that belt and give it to my boy Katsidis. :happy1:

          Ha!

JMM takes anyone to school, even at 140.

The thing is I like JMM a lot more than Barrera, but if Barrera in some way gets lucky and beats one of the weaker champs at 140, there is no way that JMM can surpass him in terms of legacy unless he tries to match the achievement or do better. Barrera isn't retired yet to my knowledge. I've always disliked him for being a dirty fighter and a poor sport, but I thought he showed heart when he was cut the way he was against Khan. Winning a fourth title is a legacy achievement and beating Hatton isn't.

140 is better, bigger pay days there and he wouldn't have to kill himself to make 140.

It's unhealthy to go up and down in weight classes.

              Not everyone is Paul Williams.

the paydays are bigger, but so are the opponents. jmm will have to be picky at 140 lbs. he could spank everyone at 135 lbs.
