While Manny Pacquiao's resume is more impressive than Floyd's resume, it's Floyd that has fought the more diverse styles.

I don't see one slick boxer on Manny's record. The closest would probably be Barrera, but Barrera was never known for his slickness.

I've never seen Manny in with a Stevie Johnston, Joel Casamayor or Mayweather type.

This wouldn't be a problem if Manny was fighting Joel Casamayor in his next fight. Unfortunately for him, his first taste of the pure African American style of boxing will be against Floyd Mayweather Jr. (arguably the best of his era).

I would feel more comfy picking Pacman if I could at least gauge him against even a Cory Spinks type.

Roach and Pac have their hands full with this next assignment. I personally think Floyd will shut Pac's offense completely down and win a UD on the scorecards.

    Remember, DEFENSE wins championships!!
I never saw Floyd in there with Casamayor or Johnston either. Even though they were in the same weightclass. Whats up with that?

Of course not all African Americans fight in the traditional "African American style" just like not all Mexicans fight in the traditional "Mexican style".

The African American style of boxing is not reserved just for African Americans. It's a style defined by speed and a "hit and not be hit" state of mind.
What about Willie Pep did he has an "African American" style? He came before Whitaker, Mayweahter, Ali, Spadafora, and Jones... Maybe instead of African American style it should be called the Willie Pep style?

You mean a style like these African-Americans?

If there ever was/is african-american style of boxing then we can safley conclude Pac's style of boxing is Jet li mixed with Bruce Lee with a touch of Jacky Chan!!

No wonder i'm so confident Pac's gonna butcher floyd in the ring. Last fight i saw Bruce Lee was when he beat the crap out of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, an african-american.

                    ENTER THE DRAGON!!!!

Yup.... that was a brawl. Burton actually bloodied his nose. Still the idea of Burton being a slick fighter eludes me. He's got some slick dance moves though.
