Definition of African American style fighters:
Pernell Whitaker, Floyd Mayweather, Muhammed Ali, Sugar Ray, Paul Spadafora, Roy Jones, etc...
Of course not all African Americans fight in the traditional "African American style" just like not all Mexicans fight in the traditional "Mexican style".
The African American style of boxing is not reserved just for African Americans. It's a style defined by speed and a "hit and not be hit" state of mind.Comment

C'mon bro...realistically with all those guys, Mosley was probably the most realistic fight to happen.
We can say all day Floyd should be fighting everyone from here to the Andes River. But of course it'll be turned into, "He doesn't have to". Well, not sure if you've noticed but Pacquiao also fits in that equation. Let Bradley, Williams, and Berto build their legacies and soon enough they'll be on the same boat.Comment

Hmmm..kinda weird generalization being Ive seen several fighters of the past fight in that manner and weren't African American. Not sure it's an "African American" thing more than being a particular style of Boxing like Brawling, which African Americans also participate in.Definition of African American style fighters:
