My view of Mayweather vs Pacquiao

I just finished watching Floyd's fight against De La Hoya. First, let me say that the Oscar Floyd fought was about the same Oscar Manny fought. Oscar fought flat footed and looked slow in both fights. He didn't use his size because he doesn't know how to use his size. I can remember that night in May 07 like it was yesterday. Yelling at the screen, Jab! Jab! I truely believe if Floyd would have took some chances he could have got Oscar in serious trouble. That's the point though. Floyd never takes chances and Manny rarely uses caution. Manny's lack of caution and just offensive mentality allowed him to stop Oscar. I believe Oscar would have been put on his back if the fight was allowed to continue. I looked at both of their fights against Hatton and they both just outclassed him. Manny's performance was more jaw-dropping, but Floyd whooped Hatton's ass from one corner to another. Manny's performance against Cotto speaks for itself. The smaller guy walking down the bigger man was awe inspiring. I know this is a little long-winded, but the point I'm making is Floyd's cautious style isn't going to work against PAC. Floyd let Oscar get off combos against the ropes and defended them well. If Floyd allows Manny to fire against the ropes he will not be so fortunate. Manny's punches are too hard, too fast, too unpredictable for Floyd to shoulder roll. Bottom line, in order for Floyd to be successful he has to keep the fight in the middle of the ring, but also be the agressor and push PAC to the ropes. That's what Erik Morales and Marquez did. They boxed in the middle of the ring, but when pushed by Pac they pushed back and then some. Morales especially drove Pac to the ropes with combinations. I don't think Floyd has it in him to walk Pac down because it's not his nature and frankly he doesn't hit hard enough. I think the PAC vs Floyd fight is even for about the first 5 or 6 rounds, but at about the halfway point PAC's agression and relentlessness begins to take over and he starts to punish Mayweather against the ropes. This will force Floyd to take more chances and exchange in the middle of the ring. PAC will oblige and do even more damage. PAC will eventually walk Floyd down and stop him in round 10. That's my official prediction. PAC round 10 TKO!

thats how i have it. I'd give Floyd the first 2 rounds, Manny looking sloppy at times. round 3 and 4 we see Manny land some good shots but still the rounds are close. By round 6 Pacquiao will have his range and the odd shots he does land will really start to bother Floyd. The later rounds 9 and 10 will be the finishing point because if Pacquiao thinks he's behind he will up his game to the point where floyd won;t have enough to hold him off. I think he then will stop him. Floyd really isn't a big guy.

thats a cool picture in your sig but you might want to scale Pacquiao bigger, because there is no way Floyds head is the same size as Pacquiaos..lol
