Even if that happens, his last fight with Diaz he only through a handful of rights after round 2 and he still managed to lean on his jab and lateral movement. All I can think is they are underestimating him or expect to see him jobbed twice. IMO that would be bad business to put the mic in this loud guy's hand after jobbing him once already. Just unecessarily bad for boxing.

Good point, he did practically beat him with the jab alone. I never officially scored the fight myself but I got the impression that Diaz won by a round or two and maybe others thought he won as well and deserves to be a slight favorite.

juan diaz looked complacent in there.....no sense of urgency, which tells me he thought he was winning...juan will go out to try and prove his point this time...paulie will try to prove he got robbed.........its gonna be a good close fight.....

Even if you think this is a close fight, +120 would be fantastic money. Whereas Diaz' -160 would be terrible money in an even fight.

I agree Diaz won the first fight 7-5.

The talk of Paulie being "robbed" is greatly exaggerated. It was just that Van Hoy score that was ****.

            +120 sounds about right.

He could easily decision him. That first fight couldve gone either way. I just liked Diaz activity and punch output better personally.

Its not a bad bet at all. Are you gonna hedge?

If Van Hoy had a 7-5 scorecard no one would be crying robbery imo. One bad scorecard made everyone **** their pants.

Typically you might hedge against a knockout for the other fighter but, it being against Paulie who if nothing else has a solid chin I think I might just ride a straight bet on him to win. It's the best straight odds I've seen in a while. Although if I'm not mistaken Valuev was plus as much as 300 at one point. However I couldn't bring myself to root against Haye so I didn't bet it.(which worked out obviously) By a day before the fight it had dipped to even money.

Absolutely. This is a totally manufactured "robbery". Paulie's post fight interview alone manipulated the rematch.
