If this whole weight issue is that big of a problem, then Cotto should have never been at WW. Half the people on this website said that Manny shouldn't have been at WW, and he just beat the hell out of the champ.

And if Cotto was restricted from 160, then I think we should of heard about it.

I hate Modern Boxing now, its bs that 2-4 pounds, can make a whole world of difference. Excuses Excuses Excuses

Why do you guys think Manny does so well in his fights? The guy barely rehydrates. Heavy Rehydrating is for MMA, not boxing. Boxers have to go through 12 rounds of fighting, not 3-4 or whatever.

The ******ity here is simply astounding! You TS should be euthanized just for being ******.

Who the fck would not allow Cotto to rehydrate on fight night when it is not stipulated in the contract?

At the end of the day is Cotto's fault for signing that contract.
I give props to Pacquiao for a great fight but all this catch weight crap has to stop, if he as good as Roach says he is then he should have fought Cotto at 147 & let him rehidrate however he pleased, to me this tarnishes Pac's wins, always getting the advantage before the bell rings.

Cotto looked smaller and didn't DLH try to control how much Floyd had to weight on fight night by saying he had to be 150 at least on fight night? So Floyd and his team marked down 150 even though he truly weighed 148?

I cant see this happening, Cotto life would be at risk. If he didnt rehydrate then he would of had less fluid in his head to absorb punches.

The second hie got in the ring they gave him water and that right there should tell you something was wrong.

BTW, Cotto lost fair and square, **** it. That doesn't take anything away from his achievements.
"Its no concern of mine whether it is 145 pounds or not," Cotto said.

"That is the usual weight that we cut down to for the weigh in, and in the ring—on fight night—I will go up eight to 10 pounds, so actually during the fight I will weigh around 155," stated Cotto.

You tell me how much Cotto weighed since you have all the answers.

Cotto was not 160+ in the ring like he USUALLY is.
