That was not a tune-up, that was Mayweather getting back in the ring again from retirement. If the fight happens to be in May he will be eight months inactive, I think Mayweather will lose to Pacquiao in his current form. A tune-up for most boxers is to stay active and still be in form.

A lot of boxers who were inactive too long ended up losing, Paul Williams, recently Mikkel Kessler, Hopkins, etc.

It's only a 7 month inactivity... And i'm not sure what you mean about Floyd not looking the same against JMM when he completely shut him out and that was off a 2 year inactivity... Plus Floyd is a gym rat, always training, always sparring, walking around at only a few pounds off his fight weight... He'll be alright
