That was not a tune-up, that was Mayweather getting back in the ring again from retirement. If the fight happens to be in May he will be eight months inactive, I think Mayweather will lose to Pacquiao in his current form. A tune-up for most boxers is to stay active and still be in form.

A lot of boxers who were inactive too long ended up losing, Paul Williams, recently Mikkel Kessler, Hopkins, etc.
