Will Manny's Offensive Attack work vs Mayweather Defense??

Pac is a great fighter but without using the famous boxing cliche, You have to know that Pac cant beat Floyd. You're not that blind. You have to know Pac has a 5inch reach disadvantage, inferior boxing skill, often closes his eyes when he punches, and wont be able to touch Floyd ..right? You have to know Pac has inferior footwork, counter punching and defense. You cant seriously think the easy to hit Pac will be able to avoid getting hit by the most accurate boxer alive? Kidding right?

I think what he's trying to get at is that Pac's punches would rattle Mayweather enough to unsettle him. And i'm probably in the minority with this but i think Pacquiao is a better infighter than Floyd.

Like Shawn Porter mentioned...This fight will be in the ref's hands. I think pac is better inside and Floyd will be looking to tie up whenever Pac gets inside. If the ref lets them work it out....advantage Pacquiao. If not...advantage Mayweather.

Here are Some gifs of round 1 of Pac-JMM 2.....notice Pac really being the one who initiates the attacking obviously, but its how he attacks with his with straight left, head forward out in the open and his right hand WAYYYYY low. Marquez is a stationary counter puncher that is the same size as Pac in height and reach and yet Pac still has to reach for him with punches to hit him. He does land a punch here and there in a few of these, but my point is the way he has to get the punch landed.

I dont believe they can correct the way he attacks, its embedded in him to fight this way and he has been able to be very successful with his style. Especially of late with guys that couldn't counter his speed. Marquez is very slow compared to Mayweather, it was evident in their fight and Marquez dealt with Pac's speed very well. He stood his ground and counterpunched Manny and although Manny was the more athletic & faster fighter, Marquez was able to time him with ease throughout the fight. Mayweather will be out the way so fast when Manny attacks Manny will leave himself wide open. Him lunging in with his head out and chin open really worries me.

I am a fan of Pacquiao as well, I just don't think he can beat Mayweather. But this fight was last March...my point is the way he attacks to land his punches. yes what he was doing was effective in SOME of the gif's but did you notice Marquez didnt move much in any of them except maybe a step back and just countered?

Please watch the Cotto fight and see how pac still attacks the same way....lunging and stretching with his head open...

what are you getting so defensive...this is a boxing forum, and its evident in all of those gif's that the way he attacks he leaves himself open...the JMM Marquez fight was just last year
