Cotto needs to rebuild his image as a boxer before even thinking of a rematch with Pacquiao. There's no way to sell another Pacquiao-Cotto fight so soon. There wasn't any controversy and it was a one-sided beatdown.

I understand, just don't know of any other fights for Pacquiao that will sell good on PPV if mayweather fight does not go through.

To Miguel and the Puerto Ricans, Tears flowed in my eyes watching Miguel taking unnecessary punishment from Manny. I am a die hard PACMAN fan and a true blooded Pinoy. Miguel and Puerto Rico has nothing to be ashamed of in that fight. I think next to Manny, he is the best in the art of sweet science. Crazy, he can still fight, he just might not be able to beat pac. Heck, if floyd loses to pac, not going to tell floyd to retire. Fans are too quick to jump. Cotto can still grab another belt. Pacquiao does not own ALL the belts. Plus, some of these belts are BS.

A Mosley fight with Pac will do great numbers in PPV IMO.

Even a JMM trilogy, i think, will do a million if they fight @140 as long as the mexicans still supports JMM.

im a big fan of cotto but i sense a double standard here.

if this was a eruo fighter who was getting this many fights on his home turf he would be labelled as being a 'home turf fighter'.

i think cotto is a good technical boxer but he lacks a right hand and has below average defense....he could stay and fight b/c level fighters and make money because he'll always be a draw...if floyd loses to pac then he's a fraud....i think floyd should be able to beat pac though.
