I underestimated Pac's chin at WW. Not only did he outbox Cotto, but he ain't wait til after 6 to tear into him. He steamrolled him pretty much start to finish.

Yeah he's modified somewhat, but I still see some heavy reliance on twitch. It's what makes Roy...Roy. It's programmed in his boxing psyche. He's too slow for that style to work anymore and he's very vulnerable right now to effective pressure, especially since his aura of being untouchable was taken away. It's sad to see him in that last Tarver fight. He couldn't do anything to win because he was forced to abandon those things he could do in the past that made him great.

Pac and PBF would start to get hit more in the long run (if there is a long run), but not as worse as RJJ, IMO.

The way he said it you could tell that he was a great fighter that knew certain things to look for and after he said that I started noticing it. Thats something that sticks in my mind and I look for in every fight. Only guys with super speed, great awearness, and great skill can consistently pull that off and Pac did it on the regular.
When RJJ said that, I'm pretty sure he meant Floyd threw a jab, then hooked off it....the conventional setup shot for the hook (from orthodox stance: right cross to set up left hook..or... left jab to set up a right hook... or Floyd will just throw a left hand lead hook sometimes.

A hook off of an opponents jab? I saw Manny catch Cotto with a quick right hand a couple times when Cotto was ****ing his hook. And I saw Manny sidestep the jab, and hit with a jab, straight left combo. Hooking off an opponents jab would be problematic because of range. The opponent is trying to keep you at range with his jab, and a hook is a shorter distance attack, which is why it needs the jab or right hand lead setup usually to gauge the range before firing the hook....

Unless you are gifted like Pac or Floyd..then you can just throw lead hooks

Anyways, thought I would tell you what I know.

Nah, I know what you mean though. Floyd throws the jab and then switches it to a hook. This one was really when Floyd was on D though. Gatti was jabbing and Floyd hooked him. Its right at the begining of the fight, like in the first 30 seconds

He's still weighing his options. He recently visited American Kickboxing to train but he plans to make his next fight on U.S. soil. Do you know, there's a little Gomi on the way, i wonder if his head will be as big as his dad's. Scratch that, a female gomi, perhaps? Same scenario with the size head.

I downloaded and HD version of the fight and burned it in a Bluray DVD. The **** is so clear. Because of the quality....I was able to see Barrera in the 5th or 6th row cheering for Cotto. He was so happy when Cotto connected his first jab that rocked Pac's head in the first round. I can also see how Mark Whalberg is so much a pacnuthugger.....Will Ferrel was just unemotional sitting beside Mark. Mark probably brought him to the fight....Will is not really a fan of boxing or something. The Korean chick was cute and another Korean chick 2 seats far back was also cute. Bob Arum was trying not to cheer for anyone since both are his fighters.
I also tend to do that & watch the crowd/audience reaction ...

but did you really see Marco? I need to have HQ version ... lolz
