The butting was intentional. Even Wards ref said so. The holding is prohibited as well. Also intentional and an integrated part of his style.

Hopkins is clearly the more dirty fighter.

Ward's rough tactics surprised me though,he really frustrated Kessler with his work in the clinches.

Regarding the headbutts, i personally thought they were unintentional.

Ward lunges when he punches sometimes, which can obviously lead to a clash of heads.

            Who's a bigger complainer.

            Cintron or Kessler?

See how these threads are pointless?

              1: I'm not Kessler
              2: I'm not complaining
3: Kessler said he lost to a better fighter.

Hopkins wins this easily haha. Watch the echols fight. All those fouls is enough for 10 boxers whole careers. I remember B hop grabbed onto the ropes with one arm and punched with the other for extra leverage.

Hopkins is 40+ and has to use that style when fighting 26 year olds in their prime. Ward is 25 and just peaking, Ward has no excuse for the way he fights.

Although Hopkins has always been a bit dirty it wasn't in the same way Ward is.
