Manny's trainer called Cotto "damaged goods"

    That should answer your question.

Oscar was coming off getting his eyesocket fractured by Steve Forbes.

Roach said "Oscar can't pull the trigger at 147"

    On Hatton...Freddie said

"Hatton wasn't that good to begin with"

Roach is HONEST about Manny's last 3 opponents.

a fight like cotto had with margarito will take something out of a boxer he took serious punishment in that fight .. like someone said the last time cotto was at his best was the 1st. six rounds of the fight with margarito... but pac did fight a still very good version of cotto i have seen this fight 3 times now and honestly cotto won the 1st. rnd. he was also winning the rounds he got knocked down in until he got knocked down which always seemed to come towards the end of the rounds ......after the 2nd. knocked down he was trying to go toe to toe which did not help him he was beating manny with the stiff jab and forcing manny to the ropes ....but i still think he can comeback and be great he needs a new trainer someone that can teach him better defense and it would not kill him to clinch once in a while either...

maybe two things that were off as far as cotto was concerned. One the weight looked to me to be a slight bother to him and two the fact that what has been said about his lack of an experienced trainer really came back to haunt him. I first suspected this might be a problem when Santiago and Cotto sr seemed to be havin a think tank strategy on the couch in 24/7, you fight Manny you better have a pretty good strategy and the instruction of a good trainer to make that plan a reality. Course maybe Cotto at this stage will be unable to work under a new trainer. The big Problem was Manny P makin him eat Philipino flavored knuckle sandwiches all night.

Ifeel he was in his prime but the weight effected him, I mean he looked pretty skinny on 24/7 talkin about draining himself without food for 48 hours and his cheek bones protruded pretty bad.

147 couldve changed the game but we will never know,

He was in the best SHAPE of his life, had a 2 month training camp, looked very cut and built.

                      No excuses.
