John Ruiz: "David Haye is a Good Opponent For Me"

I think this will be another close, tough to score fight that will go Haye's way, although I wouldn't be surprised at all if Ruiz hurts him or even stops him. I can totally see the ref stopping the action for some BS reason to give Haye a breather if he gets badly hurt.Comment

See, Ruiz is that terrible, that just by him being near Lewis, Lewis lost to Mcall.
Anyway, I don't see how Haye is a good opponent for Ruiz, maybe a good opponent if Ruiz want's an early night or something.
I don't know why people are saying Ruiz can hurt or stop Haye, i know Haye has a bad chin, but did you see how many flush shots Ruiz was landing on Serrin, who has a much worse chin than Haye?Last edited by ShatteredGlass; 11-23-2009, 06:07 PM.Comment

haye should win this fight, speed and angles give ruiz problems. throw in the undoubted power that haye has as well and i can only see a haye win.
however he will have to be careful, ruiz has been floating around in the top 10 for the last decade, has contested for world titles on several occasions and has shared a ring with some of the best. you don't manage that unless you have something, however in this fight the younger, quicker, stronger, fresher and more powerful fighter should win
i think this fight would be a good barometer of just how good david haye isComment

Ruiz should retire for good. He is not in anyway a help to resurrect the heavyweight division but again to tarnish it by offering another boring fights coulpled by 290 minutes of holding and 10 minutes of fighting, isn't it boring? He is like a black fighter, run , hold, run hold. Fighters like them should have no place in the sport. Because they are not there for the love of sport but just for money.Comment
