I think Hatton is too "big time" for this tourney. They need to leave him out and give the new gen exposure.
HBO working on a 4 man tourney (jr WW)

That would be cool. But, then Bradley-Peterson is fighting in Showtime already in this Dec. And, if that fight is a blowout they would not be no need for a rematch. And, I don't think that neither fighter has Al Haymon as a manager. So there is no way HBO would pay for a rematch of a mismatch.Comment

What they could do. Is have a 6-8 man tournament with just the new generation. And, the winner of the tournament can fight the winner of the potential Hatton-JMM fight.Comment

First off it's not a real tourney if its just two fights. Secondly, this can't be respected as a true representation of crowning the best fighter at 140 because Bradley wouldn't be in it. HBO is falling behind SHO because they focus strictly on the largest names in the sport so they are unable to put a lot of money/time into fighters that for the most part aren't very well known like these guys at 140. ****** idea by HBO imo and it fails in my book. If HBO was smart they would do something like shobox and build some young fighters in their stable. I like the direction SHO is going more than the way HBO is going about the biz.Comment

If it's really gunna be in March then I think Bradley and Peterson have plenty of time to be added to that.
bradley campbell khan maidana peterson alexander holt urango (or winner of diaz malinaggi)
that would be my 8 man tourney. no points system winner moves on...matches are picked randomly...brackets are set randomly..and so on.Comment
