They can but Ross Greenburg is an idiot. He won't be able to pull it off. You can do 8-man tourney and all the fight can happen in one calender year.

Yeah Oritz will be on it cuz he is a Golden Boy fighter. If Juan Diaz beats Malignnaggi. Don't be surprised if you see Diaz in it too.

They would be no problem for them to fight on HBO. Since the only fighters signed to Showtime are in the super 6. And, those contracts end when the the super 6 tourney ends. Showtime makes great fights no rights.

nate, maidana, bradley v peterson winner, in other words bradley), alexander, khan, hatton, ortiz, urango.

Hatton in for name recognition only. If Valero gets in, sub for anyone not named alexander-bradley, maidana or khan.

I'm all for a 4 or 6 man tourney as long as it get's up and coming fighters inside the ring fighting each other.. Khan/Ortiz/Maidana/Alexander is a good start and with this hopefully the other fighters that are not included can face one another while this is going on (ie. Bradley, Holt, Petersone, Valero, Katsidis(u know he's going to move up))

I got an HBO date for March 6th, but they working on a tournament, so we can get that started on March 6th," stated WBC jr. welterweight champion Devon Alexander as he talked about his future plans to participate in an upcoming HBO jr. welterweight tournament. Great news. This is definitely putting a spark in that division. I wouldn't be surprised to see Juan Manuel Marquez fight one of these fighters.

They should do it like this.

                    Bradley - Peterson
                    Khan-Maidana

                    Hatton-Alexander
                    Urango-Ortiz

If HBO calls this a tournament. Then I guess they already started a 4 man tournament this year if Pac-Floyd comes off. It was Pac, Cotto, JMM, and Floyd in a WW tournament. Really just 4 man sucks.
