Packy didn't need to resort to cheating.

In a neutral atmosphere Ward gets a couple points deducted and the whole tone of the fight changes.

This fight reffing was disgraceful.

Agree with the bold and lol at the ref warning Kessler for holding!!!

it was obvious who won.. Maybe the commentators were biased, because it was a shut out win? No one in tehre right mind can give Kessler even one round.

I gave Kessler 2 or 3 rounds....I had it 97-94 I gave him the 1st 3rd and 5th rounds. To me Ward was holding way too much. he was ttying up Kesslers arm that was on the side the reff couldn't see than working the other hand. See my below post....Lefty

Honsetly I am not convinced about SOG myself Walt. i think he is skilled but the style he has used in the past two fights to me is quite boring and boderline illegal. He was leading with his head in both the Miranda fight and this one. He was using his jab as a stiff arm Saturday and was warned about it at least two times. He was clinching and diving in with his left arm wrapping it around Kesslers back and holding him n place whie hitting. He was hitting on the breaks and taking the protect yourself at all times to a max. I think if he had a strict reff or if someones promoters / trainers were to compain about it and he was penalized for some of those tatics much the way Taylor was for low blows he is in a different fight all together. I am not saying he is any less good or saying Kessler was not exposed I am just saying I am not ready to go al in either way. Fact is he beat a very good fighter Saturday night. He has a good total package and I think he can do some big things in boxing. I am just not too sold on his style....Lefty

The funnier ine is the one that says "Ward Owns Kessler" or something along those lines.

Entirely truth.

That doesnt change the fact that teh American commentators and media has been bias as hell.

They are talking like Ward KD Kessler in every round and then KHTFO in the 11.

Hey meng it is not too often we agree my friend. I know I got at you in the past but it is all in good fun. I love to debate and go back and forth. Truly Kessler is not that type of fighter and judging by the way the fights were officiated in Germany and the UK the home cooking was tasting pretty good for Andre Ward. You cant begrudge someone for what the reff is going to let you do. Like when you are holding and he tells and warns the other guy for it. Or when you are hitting on the break and he aint saying ish about it....It is what it is Kesslers corner should have advuised him to play rough too but they didn't. I think Kessler will rebound nicely against Froch and we may see these two in a rematch later on in the tourney. That tme Kessler will know what to expect of Ward and we might see a different outcome....lefty
