I think Ellerbe and Mayweather fans are forgetting that Pacquiao has been a completely different figther once he moved up to 135. He is no longer one-dimensional and has found balance in his foot work. Freddie Roach will spend months of video watching all of Floyd's tendancies and Manny will listen and learn from his trainer. If Pacquiao fought Marquez now at 140, he would obliterate him. For those who think this will be a calk-walk for Floyd, I hope you don't put your life savings on the fight cuz it could turn out badly for you.

Please tell me a few of Floyds tendencies....

Manny has more tendencies than Mayweather....many more...

he has more flaws for Mayweather to expose...

i know boxing and i said it all along if floyd can't throw paq rhytmn off and use his vast experience he will lose big time. pag has the ultra speed and power and floyd never ever been in the ring with a man that fast! plus, paq brings the ko power which floyd will try to neutralize cause he can't take many of those punches or he will be ko'd! paq, pbf and shane all need to fight each other regardless of who loses to who.

Leonard Ellerbe, CEO for Mayweather Promotions, says a possible May clash with WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao will be an easy fight for Floyd Mayweather Jr. Both sides are expected to begin negotiations this week. Ellerbe believes that Pacquiao will get outboxed in the same manner as the two fights with Juan Manuel Marquez and the first meeting with Erik Morales. i always wonder why people see floyd's boxing ability as solely the basis of skills whilst pac's offense and ability to knock opponents down is not...

If Ellerbe is talking about Floyd running, then yeah, it will be a easy fight or lack of it from Floyd. But honestly, Floyd will give Manny a hard time in terms of trying to hit Floyd. Floyd's elbow defense and constant running might frustrate Manny enough to lose focus of his gameplan and he might succumb to Floyd's gameplan and tactics. If i was Manny, let Floyd come to you. Manny is better at counter punching anyway. Not to take anything away from his offense, but with Floyd, i don't think it would work as well if he tries to keep attacking Floyd.

It will be an easy fight for Mayweather, that's why he's going to take the fight... and Mayweather was right when he said it doesn't prove anything if he beats Manny cuz Mayweather should beat Manny. Floyd hasn't done **** in his career to even compare a resume to Manny's. Pacquiao is like the little kid KTFO of the big kids. Pacquiao is a ****ing Sugar Ray Robinson or a Muhammad Ali, just a smaller version. He's done so much more than Floyd has. People forget that Manny is a small person and shouldn't even be fighting these big dudes but he's still kicking ass. If Manny loses, his historical significance will remain unchanged. If he wanted, Manny could just stay at 140 (which i think hes best at) and kick ass. No risk, something Mayweather would do. Or he can fight junior lightweights at a catchweight and decide to not make weight haha. It's true, if Cotto could catch Manny and pick him off at times running away, Floyd definitely can. Thats his game, run away and pick shots, which there is nothing wrong with that, but atleast do it with guys your own size. Manny wins fights when ppl engage in a brawl, which Floyd will never do. If Floyd wanted to prove something and be in close legendary status of Manny, he should fight guys like Shane, Paul, or Margarito back in the day. Floyd's a skilled *****. yeah it will be an easy fight for floyd cause the fight won't last 12 rounds cause floyd will be knock out under 3 rounds. pac hater keep on reminiscing the time when pacman only used his left fist for defeating his opponents. Pacman is different now, he's a complete fighter now and just look how he defeat his last four opponents. I doubt if floyd can do to Cotto what pacman did. He might not be even able to defeat Cotto.
