Have you seen a Pacquiao fight?

Pacman has EASIEST time with guys who come at him. Pacman has trouble with counterpunchers.

    Jeeez.

it won't be an easy fight for floyd

i know boxing and i said it all along if floyd can't throw paq rhytmn off and use his vast experience he will lose big time. pag has the ultra speed and power and floyd never ever been in the ring with a man that fast! plus, paq brings the ko power which floyd will try to neutralize cause he can't take many of those punches or he will be ko'd! paq, pbf and shane all need to fight each other regardless of who loses to who.

I won't get into the "easy fight" part. That is opinion.

But part of what Ellerbe said is true: everybody is saying that Pac is on par with SRR and Ali and Armstrong. That's cool. So, if Floyd beats Pac, that puts Floyd at/above that level.
Is Spinks on Ali's level after beating him?

How many losses does Ray have? Are all the guys that beat him above his level?

Top 5 ATG's can lose to good fighters. They can lose to a guy who happens to have the right style antidote. But top 5 ATG's do not get shut down. So, that will be the measuring stick for Pacquiao.

If Pac gets shut down, then he was never a great fighter; he was a good fighter who looked great aginst the right opposition. If Pac dominates Flyd, then, yes. He is a great fighter. He dominated the very best (supposedly) of his era in several weight classes.

But if Floyd dominates Pac, then FMJ is the one who dominated the very best of his era across multiple weight classes.

That is what makes this fight so compelling....and good luck to both guys.
          What is this TRIANGLE THEORY?

            Couldn't agree with you more.

This is make or break for both guys...Who ever wins will get the recognition of ATG, maybe both, but if PAC destroys PBF or PBF outbox making look really bad PAC then only one may get the ATG recognition, no BULLSHT after this in case PBF wins.

If Ellerbe is talking about Floyd running, then yeah, it will be a easy fight or lack of it from Floyd. But honestly, Floyd will give Manny a hard time in terms of trying to hit Floyd. Floyd's elbow defense and constant running might frustrate Manny enough to lose focus of his gameplan and he might succumb to Floyd's gameplan and tactics. If i was Manny, let Floyd come to you. Manny is better at counter punching anyway. Not to take anything away from his offense, but with Floyd, i don't think it would work as well if he tries to keep attacking Floyd.

Exactly as in JMM, that's what i see about this fight anything Marquez did good against PAC, PBF will do it the best anyone can...as Freddie said it's the worst style for Manny.

The only doubt is that is not the same Manny that Marquez fought...and the more important thing, PBF will adjust as PAC did against Cotto, so will see who has the better plan/adaptation to win the fight.

i dont know man i thibnk pac has sealed his status as an ATG after winning 7 world titles in 7 different weight classes i mean come on he is the only person to do that and even if he were to win the titles against less than average opposition (which he hasnt) he's won against all the top names out there and keeps doing it in impressive fashion...while floyd has won 6 titles in 5 different weight divisions he hasnt done it in as impressive fashion as pac has but hey IMO theyre both ATG's and will always be seen as that but i just think pac is a little ahead of what PBF has achieved (forget about PPV numbers)

well said, some of these people think pac is unbeatable, hes top level but very susceptible to a skilled boxer, even cotto with the very little boxing and countering early on was giving him problems, pacman is somewhat hyped to me he still hasnt faced a mosley ,williams ,mayweather caliber guy at welterweight,or a skilled right hander ,a natural right hander since jmm.
