How Long Until Calzaghe Comes Back?

Seriously, watching the super 6 all I can think about is how much I miss Joe. He was so much better than all of these bums. When does he come back to tko the winner. I mean I dont think he has anything to worry about, but his haters wont give him credit for a perfect record anyways unless he takes 1 or 2 more big fights and his huggers will just say he was perfect and then past his prime. If he still had it in him I see it as a win win, plus his division is more popular now than ever, he's stayed in shape, loves the attention, it just makes sense.

He doesn't want to come back. After the Super Six is over, only young primed fighters will be on top of the division.

he left at the right time, outside of maybe fighting dawson after the roy jones jr. fight...

regardless, he aint coming back now...why would he risk destroying his legacy do to ring rust/age?

Joes primary aim in his boxing career was to retire undefeated. That is why the big fights against the big names Jones and BHop were taken when they were past their best. He has achieved his goal and is not going to risk his record being tarnished.

Because his legacy only means something to his fans. Detractors still point out fights he should have pressed for etc...Even if he loses his fans will just say, he was old. If he wins his fans have more to cheer about etc...38 isnt that old, especially for a guy who never took much punishment in the ring. I mean seriously, which fighter really hurt Joe? Like has anyone actually seen him looking hurt after a bout? Reid was the closest ive seen and neither fighter looked bad in that one.

Yeah exactly. No way ol' Slappy comes back, he didn't have a competitive fight since Hopkins and he's nearly 38.

Isn't that every boxers aim? No one likes to lose do they?

As for him "waiting" for Hopkins and Jones to get old? Utter tripe.

seriously, people don't even care anymore now than they did before he retired..
