Maybe Morales was shot because of Pacquiao? Not impossible.

Oh, and I guess Pacquiao was also damaged goods, since he lost twice by brutal KO. He was destroyed by average guys like Singsurat and Torrecampo.
Come on man, you know thats night & day. Youre talking about a teenage guy just starting compared to a guy who is 10 years older than his real age due to all the wars he's been in. IDK if the fight was already made or not. I dont even rip him for that. He was trying to avenge a loss. I rip the media for acting like he was Superman after the win like they didnt just see EM get shutout by an average guy in the fight before. Then I really blame everyone for letting there be a 3rd fight. Not only did they allow it but they went even crazier after that win. You know its true.

Again, if you want to say that Pac took something out of EM in that 1st fight, then what did Floyd take out of Oscar & Hatton and what did Margarito take out of Cotto? I dont even mean that in a way that a guy already beat them but those guys literaly didnt look the same. Hatton almost got stopped by Lazcano after the Floyd fight and everyone said that Cotto wasnt the same. We all know the Oscar story. Still, I dont even rip Pac for that because I think he probably wouldve beat those guys at there best but we cant act like those were these super tough fights and that these are legendary wins. They arent if you really break them down. They just arent. Its one thing to give him his props and rank him #1 P4P. Its another to annoint him as the best thing since slice bread and act like he's doing so much than all these other fihgters. Its not true. These arent the legendary wins that people are making them out to be and deep down real Pac fans know it but it doesnt matter because the media has deemed him the chosen one and he is going to get all the praise no matter what happeneds.

Yeah, I think the weight may have been set for the rematch. Morales moved up for Raheem, got embarrassed, came back down, lost...ask to have the next fight up in weight, Roach refused, Morales gave in for the check, got destroyed...end. Think that is how it went.
That Raheem fight was telling and it wasn't all about Raheem's style even though the style was a problem. Pac could have taken something away from him too. Morales was already past his prime when he fought Pac and gave a lot to win that match...so he was bound to fall off some more without getting it back at that stage.

Pac's career is a bit surprising. Maybe being so young helped him...as well as it coming from one solid shot from each KO...instead of having to battle it out with fighters like a prime MAB...

what led y'all to believe that Erik was shot after having only two losses against a Top 5 P4Per?

so when Floyd come up to 140, did he fought Tszyu? Cotto? no he fought the legendary Chop Corley & the immortal Henry Bruseles
Come on man, you dont have to get KO to get destroyed. He lost every single round. Every one of them. Actually, you can knock Floyd for the WW stuff if you want but you cant knock him at 140. He asked to fight Hatton in his very 1st fight. Its documented but they said NO. He wanted Cotto but Arum said he was too green. Everyone knows that. Thats not a big deal to me though because he probably was. The Tszyu fight was business. Floyd was HBO and Tszyu was Showtime. I keep telling everyone that it was setup for them to fight if Tszyu beat Hatton because that was the last fight of Tszyu's contract with Showtime and Showtime had just announced that they werent signing anymore fighters to deals and would only choose on a fight by fight basis instead of contracts. That opened the door for Tszyu-Floyd to happened. Dont forget that Tszyu was like hurt the whole time. He finally came back to have the Mitchell fight that he was supposed to and then the 2 big Showtime stars in him & Hatton had to fight. After that he was supposed to fight Floyd. He beat Hatton and Floyd beat Gatti. Perfect setup but he lost

Again, IM not hating on Pac. I think he deserves mad credit and I have him #1 P4P. I love him as a fighter and Ill watch all his fights and I always root for him in most cases. Thats no problem. The problem is when everyone takes it to the next level and starts acting like he's doing things that all these other fighters arent and that he's accomplished so much more and has this ATG resume. Its not true if you really break down how the fights happened. Its just not true. Thats my only problem.

Im also not big on all that weight stuff. He's the little man fighting all the big guys while Floyd is the big man fighting all the little guys. Nevermind that Pac was destroying EM at SFW coming into the ring at 147 pounds at the same exact time Floyd was fighting Zab & Baldy at WW coming into the ring at 146 pounds and Baldy coming in at 165. Then they have the nerve to twist it like Floyd is the guy who picks on the little people and Pac is fighting all the big monsters. Its a joke

OK. That's cool. I respect that.

Let's discuss all of Erik's good wins after he beat Pacquiao.

morales wasn't shot nor was he past his prime, the problem is that morales' most effective weight classes were 126 lbs and lower.
