It does matter if you're trying to rewrite the fight as if only the headbutts won it for Ward. Kessler was getting hit by plenty of punches too. And those punches also caused damage to Kessler's face.

Kessler was getting outboxed. But I don't approve of the dirty tactics...even if it is a fighter from my country.

Also,

Far more damage was done by Ward's skull and elbows, than his fists. Kessler would have lasted the entire fight with maybe a few swells and a bloody nose, if it werent for the dirty fighting.

Ward would have gotten the UD in such a case, and I would have respected that a lot more.

But Ward wanted to get Kessler out of there, he was probly worried about getting hit with a big shot, late. So what happened is what happened.

Just watched the fight. Ward reminded me of Holyfield in the Tyson fight infact it was even worse!
