I rate Hopkins higher than Jones and Calzaghe. I think if Jones had retired after the ruiz fight I would probably have him number 1 out of the 3. Hopkins at 44-45 is still a p4p fighter and in my opinion the greatest over 40s fighter in history. Even though calzaghe has a win over him it was clearly a huge struggle and unconvincing. And this was a old hopkins remember. I beileve if calzaghe had fought hopkins ( and jones ) when they where peaked he wouldnt have stood a chance.

    1. Hopkins
    2. Jones
    3. Calzaghe

Good post. Hopkins and RJJ are really close imo but Slapzaghe falls far behind them in the atg rankings.

Calzaghe is no better than Zsolt Erdei or Sven Ottke.

Hopkins is also not actually that past prime. What a lot of people (idiots - such as yourself) don't realise is that Calzaghe was actually further removed from his prime. You could see Calzaghe's speed, work rate and endurance was not as good as during his prime years (around 30). Hopkins on the other hand, while past prime was actually not far removed from it at all - as proved by the Pavlik demolition.

Hopkin's resume is garbage. He has about 2 good wins - against Tarver and Trinidad. The rest are just big names - they weren't good fighters where Hopkins fought them.
Hopkins resume is garbage? Tarver and Trinidad are the only 2 good names?

Easy one. Cazlaghe is a great figther, faced a few good ones, but nothing more. Roy and Hopkins have fought many great fights within and out of their respective weightclass'

lmfao he beat a shot 40 year old roy jones jr and a past prime 44 year old hopkins.

being undeafeted means NOTHING when you have a **** resume like slapzaghe.

i guess Zsolt Erdei and Sven Ottke are all time greats aswell? LMFAO.

hold on now, not all european fighters are jokes but otherwise i agree, calzaghe doesn't belong with atg's like rjj and b-hop.
