In the preview, he kept sayin, this fights gonna be a war!!!

As a boxer, i like DLH still, i always look forward to see him fight ,esp now that hes moving back down to 147, i want to see his skills re-emerge, As a promoter,**** oscar for even making that fight a ppv,maybe he was trying to bring back MAB's confidence, since EM just had a great victory,but Im pretty sure it was just for the money,its still early and he has a chance to improve boxing,but so far hes just ****ing it up more.But like i said,as a boxer,you cant take anything away from him....

DLH put the fight on PPV to make money on MAB.
Now I'm sure the MAB fans still liked what they saw.
For the boxing purists its another story.
To each his own, I guess. I said it before in one of the threads,
Fana was a patsy. I feel sorry for those who bought that PPV.

DLH must be loosing money big time, His Promotion Company is new and unfortunately works like it. They are getting eaten alive.

First the purse bid for the last Hopkins fight which they hoped he had the kind of pull to go PPV and he doesnt. The money came out of GBP's pocket because everyone else's bid was waaay less.

Then when Barrera first signed with Golden Boy, Barrera gets stopped.

In the Barrera vs Morales 3 press conference DLH introduced the undercard fighters under GBP first when it was actually Barrera who should have been introduced. The PPV was a success but lets face it, Morales sold most of it.

Now this PPV bombed and according to estimates will have similar sales to Barrera vs Kelley which did less than 100K buys. HBO will probably end up loosing money on this and Barrera will go back to regular HBO unless he fights Morales again.

Juan Lazacano wants out, whatever story you wanna believe... Juan Lazcano is a good fighter if they loose him they loose the 3rd most recognized fighter under their company. And the lightweight division is red hot, he is their only real entry into that game.

everyone had to have known barrerea was going to KO fana early, and this PPV was going to be a bomb. DLH has been going downhill a long time. Sturm beat him, Hopkins KO'D him, and now as a promoter he's failing. He's a good fighter but i never had any respect for him outside the ring.
