I've never been that impressed with Kessler so this is not a huge surprise. I still say Abraham will win this thing. He presents problems that the American fighters will be unable to deal with. Kessler looked so bad I think Froch has a shot at beating him now as well. As for the refereeing, it was horrible, but Kessler didn't lose because of it. He let it get to him.

And no, Arthur did not hit Taylor with an elbow. I've watched that in slo-mo a few times and it was a clean punch.

He is dirty and smart. Very hard to beat this guy! A younger version of BHOP.

USA never left. Dirrell embarrassed/outclassed Froch and Ward just dismantled Kessler (the man favored to win the tournament). Taylor should step aside and let someone hungry in.

The tournament is basically AA vs the USA. Froch won't win another fight and Kessler needs to find a heart.

It's Dirrell, Ward and AA with AA being the favorite IMO and that's only because the other two are green.

While watching this fight, I couldn't help but to think that this is exactly what the Mayweather-Pacman fight is going to look like with Ward playing the part of Mayweather of course...

I see an analogy to Pacquiao's legendary rivalry with Mexico's finest...the difference is, as you said, that Abraham is the experienced guy and the US boys are still a bit green - when Pacquiao was the youngster and the Mexicans were the seasoned pros...

Yeah, cause Kessler and Pacquiao fight so much alike. And Ward and Mayweather are stylistically similar too.

That's sarcasm, right? Ward's style is somewhat similar to Floyd's, but not really. He is nowhere near as sharp on defense, and he is far more aggressive on offense. Pac fights like Kessler?!? That has to be sarcasm.
