Give Ward his props, NSB

All it proves is that he was aware of what all of us were watching. That the ref was bought off and letting Ward get away w/ anything.
That was also intentional.

People don't like the hold/clinching. But it's all up to the ref and how he calls the fight. He was lettting them go on the inside. Kessler clearly didn't want any part of the inside game tonight.
The clinching stopped any type of momentum or follow up punches by Kessler. It's a smart move whether you can't stand to watch it or not.Comment

Aside from the inside stuff Ward was clearly getting the best of him with the jab and timing Kessler coming forward. There was nothing Kessler could do. He was flat out dominated.Comment

Ward fought beautifully. I had a hunch for him to win it before the tournament started, and he definitely is going to go close.
I think Abraham is the favourite, I have my doubts whether Ward can stand up to, or avoid, Arthur's power.Comment

Kessler finishes fights strong though and Ward started getting reckless allowing Mikkel to land a few big ones but problem was he could only see out of one eye and then Ward goes and rips the other one apart.
Not saying Kessler would've won, just that it wasn't a fair victory for Ward no matter how good he looked in the early part of the fightComment
