kessler should have done better, he was trying to be too precise with his punches against a faster fighter, he did the same against calzaghe. I thought when he was throwing 2s and 3s and backed ward up he was doing well just not enough of it, he must realise he can't beat everyone the same way sometimes you have to do it ugly, against someone like ward he has got to throw 3 to land 1 and accept that he will get countered at times, he doesn't apply pressure very well.

Saying all of this ward was getting away with murder, was bending the rules and not even getting warned, and every time kessler hit him with something meaty he was visibly effected by it and looked to grab. He limited kessler counter opportunities like this which i guess was smart but led to an ugly fight.

People who just assume kessler is a bum or ward is now a pound 4 pound entrant are ******, it is a bad style match up for kessler whilst a pretty good match up for ward. Has ward got bags of potential...hell yes. But he has still got to get through dirrell and abraham who will give him a lot of trouble, I think kessler will bounce back against froch.

One thing is for certain.. If and when it happens: Andre Dirrell -vs- Andre Ward is going to be one of the worst matchups to watch ever. One fighter who loves spoiler tactics(clinching as strategy etc) and another fighter who rides his bicycle like there's a lion chasing him.
