Ward though he used Hopkins-like tactics was just better than Kessler....he was faster and more dynamic and would beat Kessler even if he fought squeaky clean.

of course there has to be a conspiracy. ward dominated kessler. everyone brings up headbutts but what about all of the punches that landed on kesslers chin and body? i mean ward stood right in front of him at times and just toyed with kessler.

Ward was stomping Kessler long before the first accidental headbutt. He took the fight to Kessler and won it. Yes, the headbutts were unfortunate but overall I don't see how anyone can complain about Ward's victory.

Ward won because he was better, but the fight would have been much much more competitive had the cheating been delt with by the ref.

There is no question that Ward was fighting dirty, headbutting intentionally, holding and hitting, and several low blows.

The whole fight? The first headbutt came more than halfway through! Ward was owning him from the sound of the first bell, headbutts or not. Kessler had no answer for his speed and movement.
