The first and last part of your post is correct... the rest of your post is exceptionally poor.

Kessler's anything but a bum who was well proven during his first title reign.

And there were headbutts as early as the fourth round, when you can clearly hear the ref tell the commission, "The cut is worse from punches, but it was initially cuased by a headbutt." That was prior to the fifth round.

He was also complaining of double-vision as early as the seventh round, and again prior to the ninth, with his corner's only advice, "Knock him out."

Ward schooled Kessler tonight, no doubt. But it's not unreasonable to suggest that Ward got away with a lot (though I don't think the final outcome would've been all that different).

Sauerland SHOULD NOT HAVE AGREED TO IT, THEY SHOULD HAVE INSISTED ON A NEUTRAL REFEREE. But they were weak and agreed to it.

Ward should have been disqualified for that last nasty headbutt that ended the fight.
True, atleast have taken some points away.

i didn't like the headbutts, but it was clear from the opening bell that Kessler simply could not solve Ward.

Ward hit him clean countless times, whereas Kessler was made to look foolish at times by Ward's defense

Ward proved to be the better man.

Ward got the result, but I don't think he was terribly impressive. I was much more impressed with his ability to butt and hold and seldom manage to catch the referees attention whilst doing it. That's some ability right there

A real fighter who would use his speed to fight, Ward used it to clinch everytime he missed or was closed down. The ref gladly allowed him to butt Kessler 5 times and only split the fighters once Ward was done hitting in the clinch.

              Ward won on cuts

Ward was lucky not to be DQ`ed. The headbutt that opened up the cut that ultimatley ended the fight was vicous and deliberate

                Excuse list so far;
                1. Ward won because of headbutts
                2. Ward won because of clinches
                3. Ward won because of a hometown referee

Anymore? I mean, Ricky Hatton gets the pass because he's British yet Ward pulls a few tricks from up his sleeve and people *****. They're just mad that such a "novice" could beat a one dimensional, robotic fighter like Kessler. Give it up guys. Kessler got out boxed by Ward.

Kessler looked lethargic, he couldn't get off his combinations whenever he wanted to engage Ward would just leap foward and hold him. The referee should have done something about the holding and the headbutts for god sakes he got two huge cuts because of them.

Ward looked really good early but reverted to his usual holding and the headbutts didn't look accidental

Ward looked good the whole fight with his jab, speed and right hands that backed Kessker up. Piss poor excuses won't change that.
