In that, I'm not seeing many clear Kessler rounds, I see him being too confused and frustrated by Ward for him to make a distinct impression on rounds, with most of them pretty subjective but Ward to claim a few outright with some judiciously timed aggression. Ward will force Kessler after him and the hometown boy will be the one to prosper most out of 2 very capable counter-punchers.
Might not be the most exciting fight for the tear-up fans in here, but if it goes in favor of Ward, I'm expecting some real ring-generalship of him, an assured and not panicked combination of movement, clean, effective punching and timely spoiling. Given the hometown lean and that I expect Ward to really grasp 2 or 3 in a dozen of otherwise close rounds, I think 8-4 Ward.

But that might just be fantasy bull**** informed entirely by my own partiality to SOG.

                    What about you?
Pretty much undecided, but if forced to pick I'd go for Ward. I think it's a 50/50 fight, but I feel he has that extra ingredient.

I think it'll be a good scrap. Before I saw Ward fight, I thought he was going to be boring, based upon the way people on here and even mainstream boxing journalists talk about him, but that isn't the case. Against Miranda, he fought well on the inside and showed some very effective aggression, and he comes out with some fantastic combinations.

I wouldn't be surprised if he came out aggressive here in an attempt to stop Kessler getting into a rhythm.
