QFT. Not to say that there isn't racism but the majority of the time when people cry racism it is simply Tribalism. There is nothing wrong with tribalism, it's innate. Just in some parts of the world where uber-*******ism is preached so hard that showing pride and accepting differences is said to be eeeeeeeevil.

On that same note, some people are indoctrinated so successfully that they hate on their own tribe because they're so scared of being perceived as 'racist' e.g.

ANONYMITY fuels a lot of racism.
I go to a multi-ethnic, multi-racial barber shop. we sit there and talk boxing for 2-3 hours while we wait, or just hang around. Guys talk about who beat whom, who CAN beat whom, and style and technique. Never a racial comment.
Then you come online, and guys are calling each other idiots or ****** or insulting others' nationalities etc.
Whenever you turn on the Tv, you may see guys express pride for their own nationality, but you don't see them insulting others. Then you come on to BoxingScene or Youtube and they spout the racist nonsense.
If somebody says something you disagree with:
Barber shop response: "Nah, man. You're tripping"
BoxingScene response : "You're a ****ing idiot"Last edited by GG Marquez; 11-21-2009, 02:07 PM.Comment

I don't understand why people think race even matters! Me and my family were big De La Hoya fans and that didn't change when he faced Quartey, Carr, Mosley, Hopkins, or even Mayweather. Oscar had something about him that made people wanna watch him.
I just find it ignorant for people to hate on somebody for their race, I like lots of different fighters, infact I like lots of Mexican fighters.Comment
