It's a good win for Kessler, it would be a great win for Ward.

Ward does have a huge amount of natural talent, but he does not know how to put it all together yet.

Kessler is the same. A huge amount of natural talent, but he does know how to use it. He can look mechanical at times, but man those machanics can be downright brutal!

Depends on how he wins. If he get the ref to hold his hand and win a bull**** hometown decision it means nothing.

Will anyone consider a Ward win the highlight of Kessler's resume?

I think the Mundine win was a better win than Ward will be, Anthony for all his cowardice is a very good multiple world champion. I would probably rate the Andrade win higher as well since IMO Andrade should be the IBF champion right now. Beyer is up in the air, I'm pretty sure Mikkel retired him so it's hard to say if Beyer was totally shot or just a bit faded. Andre for all his talent hasn't done all that much. Ward would be a good win for Mikkel though.

All good points. One question though; did you give anyone outside of Calzaghe as good a shot at beating Mikkel as you do Ward?
