If Kessler beats Ward, what does that mean?

I think Ward is a good fighter, and I think Kessler deserves all the credit in the world if he wins. I mean if you look at their recent opponents Kessler has fought stiffs since losing to Calzaghe. While Ward was atleast been in with a live opponent such as Miranda as of late.

it means the final American fighter loses the first round.

    and as a result,

American public loses what little interest it has exponentially

Ward though untested really has obvious talent and skill.....much credit to Kess if he wins.

He isn't untested if he got by Miranda, Miranda is no slouch even now adays. Now, the performance wasn't great with that clinching **** but he got the job done.

He used his talent and skill to avoid being tested.....we know nothing of his intangibles.....if you are saying Miranda though a strong fighter is world class I am going to have to disagree with you.

Miranda isn't world-class but he is a B class fighter which is a good win for Ward. Miranda is one of those fighters that I rank similar to Paulie and Diaz. Good fighters, but not the best of the best.

nothing but good opposition and good wins in the supersix.
they would all look good on eachothers record.

Yes it was a good in for Ward but he wasn't really tested in terms of determination and will....his talent level is far above that of Miranda's, and he is now taking the biggest possible step up he could take and I give him alot of credit.....what i like is that both fighters have ways to win here.

All the guys in super 6 are world class. It's definitely a good win for Kessler.
