Zab talked a bit of trash before he faced Tszyu and when continues friction is applied even against an old match, that match can light up a fire and end up burning you.

You never want Tszyu thinking he is the underdog...don't let that match light up because if it does...it will burn you.

I think Freddie's trash talking actually would have been a positive for Tszyu.

              Think so

Joke: Tszyu hit him so hard that Zab didn't know where he was when he got up and looked to the ref (before he fell back down)

Mine: I was adding to it....but not as a joke...Symbolic

If people think Pac would just walk through tsyzu then they must have started watching boxing in the last 4 years or so, A prime Tsyzu not the old inactive one that Hatton mauled and cling to death would time and land on pac who his too reckless when coming in sometimes.

Its a picked them fight because Tsyzu is a patient fighter who timed his opponents perfectly especially some a reckless opponent. With the amount of experience Tsyzu have in the amateurs he would be a tough fight for Pac.

^yeah, I agree that MOST of those who say that Pacman would have easily beaten Kostya were either not into that much or haven't seen enough of him

I wouldn't say either one of them would beat each other easily...it would be a tough fight for both.

Kostya reminds me of Marquez in the sense that he has the skills to beat Pacquiao. The advantage he has over Marquez is that he won't get in a dog fight and has the straight right hand to pop Pacquiao and the left hook to match

Kostya doesn't just throw wide punches either and is very steady on his feet

Also, even though Kostya lost to Hatton, he was actually doing well in the mid-later rounds with counter punching until it probably got too rough for his legs at the time

So you're telling to us that KT won the fight bcuz Zab was trash talking to him? Freddie likes to play mind game and Pac execute his opponents pretty well without much talking. Ask his previous opponents cuz trash talk dont mean **** in boxing, its only to hype the fight. KT only got one hand weapon and he's stationary to hit, good thing he hasnt face a puncher like Pac.

Pac smoke him inside 6 rounds.

I'm saying it may help Kostya Tszyu focus more...to prepare better.
I've always wondered with Tszyu that when he was Champion for a certain stretch of time, with good news always coming his way, if he starts to believe the hype and settles in...feels like the win is going to be there.
Trash talk him, like Judah and Mitchell did, and say he is past it and make him the underdog, like many in the media did...and for some reason he his intensity and focus is there even more so...and he wins.

Tszyu must have taken those two fights for example personal because he talked about it and didn't seem to like it one bit. That's what I'm saying.

Kostya wasn't a one-hand fighter although he did become more of a right-hand dominant fighter at a certain point...which isn't the Tszyu I'm talking about...nor was he as stationary at his peak as you may think...watch some videos. He was faster both in hand and foot...and with his ability to understand distance, he was able to quickly get out of range by only needing to use short-distance movements.

He also relied more on the right because I think it was actually his left-shoulder that was injured and once it was ripped, he was forced to get surgery. Plus, by a certain point, after many KO's with that right, many punchers start to rely on their power arm...it happens.
But his short-left-hook that he can hold out there to look like a jab then rolls it over to a hook...has stunning power. He did it with Mitchell {southpaw} as well.

Power: Judah has a better one shot power punch than Pac.
Pac's power comes more with speed, angles to not see the punch coming, and accumalation.
Pac's opponents don't talk so much about his power as it is the speed he fights at and how many he can throw without you seeing them.
