Would Kostya Tszyu still have troubled Pac after seeing Pac destroy Cotto?

Anybody can be knocked out through an accumulation of punches. I've only seen the ending but Kostya was standing when he was TKO'd. Kostya wouldn't go out like Hatton or Cotto.

I've seen the ending too... Tszyu was much more hurt than Cotto when the end came. Cotto didn't seem hurt (in boxing terms) moreso than Tszyu.

Cotto seem battered, but no moreso than in pervious rounds.
Tszyu seemed glassy eyed and very hurt when it was stopped.

Tszyu made a big mistake in the way he fought Phillips: By that point, and this has always been a problem with Tszyu, he believe the hype and bought into his toughness and big right-hand...which is why he as better off being the underdog...more motivated, more understanding of how to go about a fight.
In that fight, Phillips fight, he thought he could continue to take Phillips shots head-on while trying to dish out his own. During that fight, they talked about how Tszyu could take such shot after shot...but the things is, even someone with a good chin can be taken out if enough pressure/power is applied.
Like many fighters when they reach the top, he forgot what got him there.
There was always talk about what was going on with Tszyu during that time with regards to his training and where his head was at, but...of course, he never rematched Phillips either, so...

But no excuse, just explaining it. If Tszyu shows up like that against Pac, who is always prepared and has Roach to keep him humble as well as his own self in order to be at his absolute best for every fight...Tszyu can be taken out if his punches show no effect on Pac early on.

I favor pac at 140.... the in and out movement will be too much cause pac has too much speed, but if pac brawls w/ tszyu all bets are off.

Be prepared for a lot of that in this thread.

I actually have not seen much of Tszyu at all. I saw him against Judah, and saw bits and pieces against Hatton. He seems like a straight puncher, and a very technically solid fighter.

I think the speed would trouble him, but moreso, the awkward angles, and Pacquiao jumping from side to side would really throw him out of his gameplan.

That's just my take... I tend to be awful at predicting the way fights go down, so take it for what it's worth.
Is that the reason gayweather-***g0t ducked Kostya?

Kostya's been saying for years that he wants to fight the ***g0t. Ur ***g0t-guy that u love.

Kostya is an ATG at 140.

But here's the thing. Kostya is an aggresive power-puncher with good boxing skills. But the thing is... he isnt a combination puncher.

The best way to beat Pac is by using combinations.

Morales did a lot of those to Pac.

                Not counter-punching.

If tszyu catches manny coming in with his straight right its over imo,

not sure he can land it with the angles manny comes in at though

Floyd said he wanted to fight Tszyu on video and in interviews/paper.

The fight couldn't get made at the time because Tszyu was on Showtime and Floyd was on HBO...but Floyd had his intentions set on getting a fight with Tszyu. In order to make the fight more lucrative for Showtime and HBO to make a fight/PPV between them...they had to do something so Floyd took on Gatti in a PPV to boost his name and get the money up...and Tszyu went with Hatton for the payday and Hatton was a Showtime fighter.
Didn't come off because Tszyu lost to Hatton.
