Apparently, Ward will look to box from long range and at other times, to "fight" Kessler, all while setting a high tempo. They said they are going to test his body.

Seems they've studied the Calzaghe fight a lot.

Ward ran hard and fast against Miranda. Ward is gonna think he is facing 5 Miranda's in there all at the same time tonight.

It bugs me because he could have beat Miranda down, but he was just too afraid to get hit at all. What is going to happen when he is in with a guy who is 2x faster, hits just as hard and is about 5x more accurate than Miranda?

Ward is to me, unless he shows me something different, wasted talent.

From Wards perspective the Miranda fight was a test; a learning experience. Miranda was a big step-up in opposition quality so I find it quite natural that Ward fought a bit tentative. Of course it would have been nice if he would have pressed for the KO, but in the end he got a safe UD without getting hurt at all.

Miranda is a gatekeeper for the big guns, so a championship fight is the natural thing for Ward now. He has been developed slowly and now he faces the barrel of a loaded gun. Will he blink?

I think Ward will win but not by stoppage. No one will stop Kessler in his prime, but he can be outboxed.
