If Ward by his hometown ref is allowed to spoil the fight by excessive holding, he might find success in disrupting Kessler's stylish boxing. It doesn't mean that the fight will neccessarily be dull though.

It's not like it's ruled out that Ward can win. Following the Miranda fight a fight for a championship is the logical move so he's as ready as can be. Other champions would have been easier though.

Ward ran hard and fast against Miranda. Ward is gonna think he is facing 5 Miranda's in there all at the same time tonight.

It bugs me because he could have beat Miranda down, but he was just too afraid to get hit at all. What is going to happen when he is in with a guy who is 2x faster, hits just as hard and is about 5x more accurate than Miranda?

Ward is to me, unless he shows me something different, wasted talent.
