I really cant understand all the arguing about ppv numbers and who gets the biggest split.Anyone would think it was youre money the way some of you go on.I know mayweather talks about this sort of stuff a lot but it's his money not ours.I say leave all that stuff to the fighters and promoters to sort out and just watch the fight.I honestly couldnt care less whos getting what.I'm only intersted in what happens in the ring.

While it may not seem like a big deal to the average boxing fan the splitting of boxing purses continues to be a major issue when making a super fight...The case between Pacman and Floyd is no different...Regardless of bias and who we are going to cheer for, lets look at facts... (im going to be 100 percent unbiased here)...

First off- ppv numbers in last three fights. Add up the numbers guys, Floyd wins.. more in Dela hoya...more in hatton and less in marquez vs cotto...so its 2-1 mayweather... you guys say well the most recent test PAC wins and I say thats a good point but the thing is COTTO is a major star...huge starrrrrrrr, the stadium was 50-50 when I thought it would be a love fest for pac...

You've left out the fact that the majority of PPV's are American and nither Pac, Hatton or (technically) Cotto were American. Hold all the same fights outside of the US and Pac arguably does better numbers.

Amateur or no, it still doesn't change anything. Manny did it, Floyd didn't. Whether he could have is total speculation.

...regardless of wht we educated fans know about Floyds 40-0, the GENERAL PUBLIC is enamored with such a number...they don't care about who fought who, they just know that the American is 40-0 and the casual fan loves this...the casual fan knows of Floyd through various things and they prolly want to see him lose but guys this SELLS....PEOPLE LOVE MANNY AND HATE FLOYD...that does not mean that Floyd brings less to the table....peoples desire to see Floyd lose out-weighs their desire too order just some random pay per view for 54.99...America is going broke, people cant afford too buy something if it is not the best right now....

This is an assumption. My desire is to the best, most entertaining fight. THAT is what I spend my hard earned money on.

THIRD AND FINAL: legacy vs money

Floyd is an honest guy and he blatantly states he fights for money...I respect this in an age of political correctness...at the end of the day some people spend lots...Floyd is not broke but he isnt mega rich either...but he is smart enough to know that if he isn't 40-0 his big paydays are toast...therefore he is willing to fight shane mosely for the lions share or PACMAN if he at least gets 55 or even 60...PACMAN is not the greatest of all time...he has much work to do but he could become the greatest of all time with a KO of mayweather...so if manny wants too become the greatest then fight the guy who is 40-0 and is known in AMERICA USA as the greatest...thats where your legacy will live forever so step up ....pay the 5 or 6 million and fight pretty boy floyd mayweather in the super fight so pacman can finally prove he is willing to fight a guy that isnt tailor made for his style...

This last part is as ridiculous and as bias as it gets. Respect for trying though.
