I guess you're right (assuming you're talking about any fight post-Peter). The Calvin Brock might've been a bit tougher, but probably not by much.

But more germane to your point, Thompson is better than he's given credit for, and unfairly judged by the Wlad fight. I actually like this matchup from a competitive standpoint, though worried for Chazz from a personal bias view.

I've long been a fan of Thompson and as I said above I still believe he is the best American Heavyweight.

It's funny that people whine about Heavyweights lack of activity, then when faced with a guy like Thompson who throws 3-4 punch combinations with regularity the criticism changes to "this guy is featherfisted".
