    is chazz witherspoon's management crazy?

there sticking him in the ring with Tony Thompson on the undercard of williams-martinez. i mean is this supposed to be a tune up for thompson or a "showcase" for witherspoon? i do know one thing though, thompson will batter witherspoon with ease and will stop him inside 8 rounds.

I think it's an interesting fight. I hope there's some way we can see a video of the fight afterwards.

This is the kind of matchup that needs to be made in the heavyweight division, instead of protecting fighters by having them fight bums all the time.

is it not being televised? witherspoon may manage to make it competitive for the first couple of rounds but hes just not in thompson's class. he won rounds against wladimir klitschko and dominated timor ibragimov, stopped luan krasniqi and embarrassed dominick guinn. witherspoon is in serious trouble unless tony shows up completely out of shape and overthe hill

Tony Thompson is the most underrated heavyweight. He gave Wlad his toughest fight of the past four years.

Chazz Witherspoon isn't very good, so I see him as a good comeback opponent for Thompson, kind of like Cameron was for Tua. Witherspoon is going nowhere anyway.

I have been saying this for awhile. He is certainly the best American Heavyweight, much better than Arreola or Johnson.

Thompson would beat Haye easily as well if he were to get a WBA shot.

He did? ****, Thompson barely survived Barry Hunter during his one-minute corner rests that night.

LOL. Maybe so but he did give Wlad his toughest fight, which isn't saying much since it wasn't actually tough.

I'll have to stop posting for awhile - I have a lot of work to do the next few weeks.

I guess you're right (assuming you're talking about any fight post-Peter). The Calvin Brock might've been a bit tougher, but probably not by much.

But more germane to your point, Thompson is better than he's given credit for, and unfairly judged by the Wlad fight. I actually like this matchup from a competitive standpoint, though worried for Chazz from a personal bias view.
