David Haye KOed by little guy who lays tiles!

Wlad's corner threw in the towel. After schooling Purrity for 10 rounds, showing off for his home-town Kiev fans by throwing a huge number of punches and moving around the ring quickly, Wlad really turned it up to try to KO him, but gassed and was stopped.

Purrity was age 30, thick and muscular, and 25 pounds heavier than the slender age 22 Wlad. Ross went the distance with other big punchers like Morrison, Rahman and Sanders by using the "ear-muffs" defense, like Chambers, Wright and Abraham do.

That was very different than age Haye being KOed by Carl Thompson, who was age 40 and had previously been KOed by three light heavyweights when he fought at 175.

And nothing like the fight in the video!

Ross Purrity was a bum with 20 losses.

Everybody loses in the amateurs, but most of the top fighters don't get KOed like that!!!

Wlad, Dirrell, Povetkin, Pulev, Golovkin etc. were never KOed in the amateurs, although they all lost.

A few were stopped though. For example Bute was KOed by Golovkin.
