Daniel Santos is lucky he wasn't fighting a pressure fighter with power.

Yes I noticed the flabby stomach.....now that I think about it. Could JCC jr who fought in the fight after have beaten him if he just kept throwing punches and wore down a Santos who just took off and put on 19lbs?

Probably...Santos, threw too few punches..didnt even jab quite much...Any decent fighter will beat a boxer who doesnt punch, and cant carry his belly and sagging arms.JCC Jr probably punches harder than Foreman. Although, i have no idea if JCC JR. can take a punch. Santos has heavy hands...Like a bouncer in the club

Yeah, if Jr. has a china chin or just not a good one Santos would have stretched him no matter how out of shape he is......but to think the Chavez team missed out on this opportunity, and we could have had JCC jr. as a belt holder at 154......imagine how many fighters would be lining up for a crack at him.

Well Arum didnt want to rush his "coming of age" thing. First time to fight mainstream, cant risk that unblemish record. That's why they picked a guy out of retirement.

Well then I am glad though that Santos since he came in out of shape probably due to underestimation of his opponent lost his title to a skilled boxer who even though doesn't have much power is at least dedicated enough to be in great shape for fights
